The final gin I have to show you is a 5cl Mary Le Bone London
Dry. I have no idea why it only fetched £2. Belorusskaya
Vodka 5cl did much better at £12.
Gilbey's Odds On Wine
Cocktail was bottled in
the 1940s - £12.
Blandy's Madeiras
Bottled is a great 1960s
bottle. Pity it only fetched
£2. Lamb & Watt
Jamaica Cream
Blackcurrant Rum
Liqueur from the 1950s
got no bid.
The Appleton Special Jamaica Rum is an Italian import.
I would have expected more than £2. The Shipmate
Dark Rum from Brown & Pank got the same result. The
Sikkim Teesta 5cl White Rum from India got no bid.
For the final two we have two
more £2 bottles. A relatively
new Keo Ouzo from Cyprus
and a Booth's 5cl Finest Dry
Gin from the 1950’s.
Whisk(e)ys next time.
