We start with a pair of well known buildings/miniatures, Shakespeare’s Birthplace
and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage from late member David Maund. These are part of his
great Landmark series of buildings.

Shakespeare’s Birthplace has also been made in miniature by McLech. They also
made the Anne Hathaway’s Cottage flat barrel mini. The two Lindisfarne jugs seen
below feature the Royal
Shakespeare Theatre
and, again, his birthplace.

Finally, I am cheating a
bit to fill the page. The
two crested ‘One Special
Scotch’ ceramic bottles,
made for Stratford-upon-
Avon, date from the
years between the world
wars (1918-1939).
Although, if it weren’t for
Shakespeare, Stratford
would not be a tourist
town.
