Burns' mouse was also honored on a U.K. postage stamp, which reproduces
the first verses (in the original Scottish dialect) of the poem To a Mouse.
As a tribute to the poet, a statue of the famous mouse was unveiled in
Scotland. The bronze statue, about 2m high, is the work of the Scottish
sculptor Kenny Hunter and is located in Alloway, Ayrshire, Scotland, the poet's
birthplace.
