Destilerias Campeny are
based in Barcelona and
were founded in 1970.
The company is family
owned and are better
known for their liqueurs.
I am not definite but they
may have produced a
Kiwi Fruit liqueur before
one was produced in
New Zealand. My sister
sent me one in the early 1980’s which she
received from a Basque priest but that is
another story. Going by their web site they may
no longer produce Brandy but they have such
nice bottles they deserve a mention. Also they
produce so many miniatures for collectors. The
horse head and banjo both contain Brandy
Reserva. Strangely for a Barcelona company,
they issue bottles commemorating Real Madrid.
That is a bit like Celtic selling Rangers goods.
