Booze for the preacher

I saw something different on Ebay the other day (written on 28 March – Ed). An empty
plastic mini of Russian Vodka that was a prop for the TV show "Preacher". There was also
an empty plastic Berry Grove Sloe Gin, Old Mark Bourbon and Barbados
Rum. All of these are fictitious products. Someone was selling them for $7
each (VERY cheap I believe – Ed). An unusual example of a mini that's
fake but might make a cool sub collection for some collector out there.

I wonder if any collectors have minis like these
from other shows or movies? Does anyone
recall seeing any pics of prop minis in the past?

I am sad to report the death of Malee Chin, wife of
long time committee member Ken Chin and a
regular attendee at club meetings. Malee had had
poor health for many years and had cancer in
recent years, which is what she died of. Sadly, Ken
and their son Jeffrey were unable to comfort Malee
in her last weeks. Although Ken is himself a Doctor,
authorities would not make an exception of no
hospital visits during the pandemic. Ken & Jeffrey
were there for Malee’s last few hours but she was
non-responsive by then. It was a small funeral,
attended by family only as in NZ we were restricted
to 10 people only at a funeral at that time. A
memorial service will be held later in the year.
