John F. Kennedy
John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917 – 1963), commonly referred to by his initials JFK,
was the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until
his assassination in Dallas in November 1963. He is best known for
standing up to the Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis
where the world stood on the brink of nuclear war.
