for £40 – rather poor
I thought but then
I’m a big fan of
Armagnac, to drink
not to collect.
The two sets to the
right did not sell very
well either. The
Domaine De Papolle
Tasting Selection
are Press Samples,
poor at £30. Tubes
usually sell well but
they say that it is the
exception that
makes the rule.

Armagnac Tenareze tasting selection of 6 tubes.
We have our final Armagnacs above. The Chateau De Castex d'Armagnac is undoubtedly the nicest
looking of the Armagnac bottles. It is a 50yo, made in 1944 and bottled in 1994. £35 bought it. The
pair of Chateau Du Busca are press samples distilled in 1974 & 1991 - £16. The Montal 1960 is the
most common of all the Armagnacs I am showing you, £10 was probably a good price for this. The
