Tasting Sample Bottles

I have recently added two very large sets of 3cl Tasting Sample miniatures to Miniature
Bottle Library. Both companies are re-bottlers. They take one or more either current or old
bottles and split the contents into 3cl bottles. In theory this is 250 samples per bottle,
although 240 would be a more realistic average allowing for a bit of wastage and some
evaporation in older bottles.

Drinks by The Dram is from Master of Malt, although the set
includes a lot more than Scotch. Note that early bottles were
labelled Master of Malt and some, also earlier bottles, Atom
Supplies. I have identified 979 bottles, although MBL does not have pictures of many of
these. I know that there are a lot more bottles than those identified as many have been
‘retired.’ Prices range from £3.64 to £210 for The Last Drop 50 year old Double Matured
Malt Scotch. Unfortunately I do not have a photo of this but a representative sample of
these bottles are shown.
