Most of what I have to show you are from the UK Whisky Auction but we will start with two
‘sales’ on Trademe, the NZ answer to Ebay.

Erica Mulder saw the NZ whisky set for sale: “Wilsons

Not surprisingly it didn’t sell. It was then relisted; Start
price $75.00, no surprise, once again it didn’t sell. By the
way, this set was originally purchased, full, from our
website for much less!”

What always amazes me is idiots like that pay for a
listing and often keep paying again and again for a re-
listing. Talking of idiots, Frank Wynn (no, he’s not the idiot!)
emailed me the URL of this listing of three NZ mini beers.
The starting bid was high (nZ$60) but I don’t have two of
them and so put in a bid. I was winning
the bid when Trademe, or rather some
idiot in Trademe, deleted the listing as
Trademe has a no alcohol policy. These
beers are only 15ml and do not contain
alcohol!

I will start the UK sales with a few
ceramics, prices of which were up and
down on what I would have expected.
